D.E.S 5.5 SKIN LIGTENING BEAUTY LOTION REVIEW

Todays review is on D.E.S 5.5 skin lightening beauty lotion. It is rich in boabab oil. It is a lightening lotion that clarifies the skin. It comes sealed with a white plastic stopper at the top to prevent it from spilling out which is genius.

I found out about this lotion through a colleague, he had a very dark skin which made me skeptical about using it. But his skin looked really good and everyone was complementing him. He got me one as a present to try but I still refused but my mum decide to try it out. My My My she loved it. She had dark circles under her eye and it cleared up. Her skin became clear and bright. What I loved was that it didn't damage or change their complexion. So I finally decide to try it out my self, I will share my own experience with you on this blog on how it was on me but let me share with you the list of ingredients in this lotion first.

D.E.S 5.5 Lightening Lotion Ingredient; Aqua(water), mineral oil, petrolatum, stearic acid, stearyl alcohol, Cetyl stearylic alcohol, isopropyl myristate, methylparaben, propylparaben, sodium lauryl sulphate, sodium sulfite, sodium metabisulfite, Propylene Glycol, ascorbic acid, citric acid, lanolin, Glycerin, adansonua digital (boabab) seed oil, Tocopheryl acetate (vit.E), hydroquinone 2%, UVA, UVB, fragrance, fd&c pigments.

My experience using the lotion;

The first thing I noticed about the lotion is the fragrance, it had a strong fragrance and there is nothing I can compare it to, I didn't mind though. It is very light weight and easily absorbed into my skin. It is non greasy. I noticed my skin started to get light slightly about 2 weeks of using it once a day. It gradually took me 2 shades lighter in 2 months. I was happy at the outcome and didn't have any reaction at all to the lotion. It didn't darken my knuckles and my legs. I didn't use it on my face because it contains hydroquinone and they were smart to include UV protection into the lotion.

If you have oily skin you will love it, it is nongreasy and won't clog your pores. If you have dry skin you will need to also use their oil alongside the cream or any moisturizing oil of your choice. If you are a dark skinned person be aware that it will lighten or tone up your complexion although on my colleague it didn't lighten him it just gave him a glow but everybodies skin is different. 

Do a patch test before you apply all over your body to know is your skin will accept it or react badly to it. For the price as at August of 2021 I fit 225ml for 1,100 Naira.
