Retin-A Treatment Soap For Acne

Hey Beauties,

I was having bad breakout and couldn't just figure out what was causing it. It left some ugly scars on my face and the annoying thing was more acne was erupting on my face. Retin- A soap was recommended to me.

The soap is sealed with a transparent film sealed with the brand Logo.

It is a transparent bar soap, it smells like any other regular transparent soap. The smell does linger for a while though. It doesn't lather so well especially if you are using hard water to bath.

What is Retin-A?

It is a form of vitamin A, it is used as a topical treatment for acne. It improves the cosmetic appearance of the skin and there are believes that it helps with reversing the effect of aging of the skin.

My Thoughts;

it was mild on my skin and i didn't get any reaction from using it. It leaves my skin dry though after using but when I moisturize afterwards i was fine. My skin started to improve gradually and that's one thing to note "it is not a magical solution so you would need to be patient " i stopped breaking out and the itching on my face stopped. It didn't fade off my scars immediately but my complexion started to return back to normal and my skin was glowing.

How I Used It;

I didn't use it all over my body, I only used it in the affected area because it is a treatment and not a beauty product. But if your condition needs you to use all above pls feel free to do so. I would apply it 10-20 minutes before i take my bath to allow it work on the area an then bathe as usual.

If you experience any negative reaction like itching, rash etc, stop use immediately. It comes in cream and tablet form depending on what was prescribed to you. I got it for 500 naira in Nigeria.
