Hey Beauties,
How are you all doing? It’s being a while that i posted anything here and am so sorry. I have been occupied with so many activities lately. But, am happy to be back.
Today’s post is on the Dodo white up beauty lightening lotion. The first time i came across this lotion was in 2017. It was just newly introduced to the Nigerian market. My initial plan was to buy the Clinic Clear lotion because i just returned from a field exercise then at my final year in the university. I was experiencing hyperpigmentation due to too much exposure to the sun. I wanted something to even out my skin fast. A friend recommended clinic clear body lotion to me and i saw someone else that i knew use it. so, I went to the market to get the lotion. On reaching the cosmetic store I normally buy my lotion, they didn’t have i, instead the store owner introduced me to Dodo white up lotion. He also showed me the soap. He said i could use either of them for a better result. Hmmm...... I was skeptical because I had never heard about it before. I decided to give it a try. Here are my thoughts on the lotion
What i liked about the lotion is that, it made my skin glow, so many people approached me to ask about what i was using on my skin. My skin was smooth and soft. It is non greasy so I enjoyed using it even in the hot season because the weather in Nigeria can be hot sometimes. I noticed this lotion works well for some people but damages the skin of others. I remember a close friend of mine used it after seeing the good result on my skin but it ended up damaging her skin. So bear in mind that because it’s good for one person doesn’t guarantee it would be good for you.
So if you want a lotion to solve your problem of hyperpigmentation, sunburn or you want to lighten your skin i recommend you try out this lotion. I loved it and i recently bought it again because i am having a mild case of hyperpigmentation again.
I hope you found this post helpful. You can purchase the lotion online from jumia and konga or from any trusted beauty supply stores near you.

- It has a mild scent that goes away after a while.
- It is non greasy, so if you have a dry skin you would need to mix it with an oil but for normal and oily skin you would love it the way it is..
- It is a very strong bleaching cream even though it didn’t list any strong or harmful ingredients. But, the ingredient called White-Up one might not be too sure.
- It indeed lightened my skin and gave me an even skin tone within two weeks but later I noticed more green veins than usual on my skin.
- It is cheap and the quantity is good for the price.
