Hey beauties!
Am excited about today's review and am sure you are too. I love love love reviewing Nigerian owned makeup brands because they tend to consider and understand our needs, yes! They know what we want.
Today's review is on the Zaron healthy glow foundation with oil control and spf 30. I am totally in love with the brand. Asides the foundation i have tried their concealer, primer and brow pencil which I would review sometime.
Here is a how the foundation looks
Now to my thoughts on the foundation;
Let me first show you a picture of me when i used the foundation. My foundation shade is FZ25
What i love about the foundation ;
1. True to it's claim it is light on the skin and gives me a full coverage a little goes a long way.
2. It has a scent which i don't mind. I actually do love it when any cosmetic product i use has a pleasant scent.
3. When i applied it at first it appeared lighter then it changed to my correct shade. It dried down matte but it had a subtle glow.
4. The price is good for the quality. I got it for 4750 from their store in kaduna.
5. For wear test of 8hrs it did hold up but at around 4-5 hrs my face became noticeably oily which my powder took care of.
Important things to note about the foundation before buying is;
1. Zaron brand so far doesn't have a wide range of foundation shade yet their foundation shade is mostly for light skin the only dark shade FZ35 isn't very dark so if you are very dark skinned they don't have your shade yet.
2. If you don't like foundation with scent then this foundation is not for you.
3. If you have more yellow undertone their foundation would look ashy on your skin you might have to mix it with another foundation with yellow undertone.
4. When applying this foundation be light handed because if you apply too much it cakes and settles along the fine lines of your face.
5. If you have dry skin use a moisturizer and a moisturizing primer before applying the foundation.
So beauties what do you think? Would you be trying out the foundation? I totally recommend it because it's what am using presently and i love! You can get this foundation from any Zaron store across Nigeria. See you guys on the next review.
Cheers!!
