Hello Beauties!
How are you all doing? Two months ago, i was looking for a body lotion with mild ingredient without lightening agent at all. Lately in Nigeria most cosmetic stores love to stock their store with lightening and toning lotions probably because that's what people buy. I don't have anything against
anyone using a lightening cream or toning cream, infact i do too because being light skinned in Nigeria the struggle with hyperpigmentation is real, my skin easily tans under the sun especially my face.
I came across the Enchanteur Perfumed Body lotion two months ago it claimed to be non greasy, specially enriched with Aloe Vera and Olive Butter to give the skin optimal moisturization and nourishment. Apply daily for beautifully soft, silky smooth skin.
I immediately bought the lotion and was so excited to use it. What I love about this lotion is, true to it's claim, it is non- greasy, it has a very romantic and seductive scent which I love so much, it gets easily absorbed into the skin and it left my skin moisturized all day, it does not have sun protection but it is mild on the skin. For my kind of job as an Exploration Geologist it works perfectly for me combined with my spf 40 cream as am mostly outdoors working.
When i first bought the lotion it was towards the end of the harmattan period. I had to use the lotion with sheabutter so that my skin doesn't dry out because the lotion doesn't contain any oil. But now with the hot weather i love that it is non greasy and very light on my skin because i have combination skin. I don't sweat as much and i feel comfortable, fresh and smell good all day.
The lotion comes in different colours to choose from and so does the fragrance. They also have body spray, roll-on and powder.
If you have a very dry skin i wouldnt advice you buy this lotion but if you have an oily or combination skin this lotion would work perfectly for you. If you buy this lotion during the harmattan you would need to use it with an oil or sheabutter.
Price: I got it for 580 naira in Abuja
You can buy this lotion in Nigeria from their Instagram page @enchanteurng, jumia, konga and any cosmetic retail stores near you.
