WHAT TO HAVE IN YOUR PERSONAL MAKEUP KIT.
Hey beauties,
I get asked a lot by women about what are the makeup essentials they would need for their personal makeup kit. Sometimes building a makeup kit takes time depending on your pocket and how much you love makeup. Below i would be listing makeup must haves for your kit but bear it in mind that it is totally up to you if you would want to buy the high end brands or drugstore brands. So let's get started
1. FACE: Primer (Mattifying or moisturizing), Foundation (matte or dewy), Concealer, Powder, Setting spray (optional), Glow kit (optional).
2. EYES: Eyebrow pencil, definer or pomade, Eyeshadow, Eyeshadow primer, Mascara, Eyeliner.
3. LIPS: Lipstick ( matte, liquid or glossy), Lip pencil ( any shade of choice), Lip balm.
4. Accessories : Personal makeup brush set, Face wipes or makeup remover.
For foundation and powder it is important to get shade matched before purchasing any. Try to also know your skin tone, you can do this by reading about skin tones on google. Some makeup brands on their websites do have a shade finder to help potential buyers but you still need to have an idea of your skin tone. I would advice anyone buying foundation and powder for the first time to buy from a store where they can try out the foundation or have have a professional guide them.
In case there was anything i left out in the list pls do feel free to add them to your kit. Also, if there is anything in the list you feel you don't need then no need to buy it.
I hope i was able to help someone today. I would like to hear from you if you find this helpful. Please do leave a comment down below if you have any questions or suggestions.
Cheers!!!
